First aid first.
CleverSkin24 is the first controlled configuration of the CleverSkin platform. The product is being developed as a temporary first-aid wound covering for a deliberately narrow use case, rather than as a broad advanced-wound-care product at launch.
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT BOUNDARY
A simple front end. A controlled back end.
Intended setting
First-aid use by an eligible lay or professional user, subject to final usability and labelling controls.
Target wound boundary
Eligible minor superficial cuts, abrasions and minor lacerations. Deep wounds, severe burns, chronic wounds and surgical wounds are outside the current launch boundary.
Target contact duration
Maximum cumulative wound contact up to 24 hours, subject to the final biological, clinical, performance and usability evidence.
The working product description includes point-of-use two-component activation, a self-forming / foam-forming covering, physical or mechanical protection and limited wound-exudate absorption. These remain controlled development claims until the corresponding evidence and route-specific release gates are closed.
USER SEQUENCE
Press. Mix. Dispense. Cover.
01 · Press
Activate the internal pack mechanism as defined by the final instructions for use.
02 · Mix
Mix the two components inside the pack. The packaging and ratio-control workstream is being validated separately.
03 · Dispense
Dispense the mixed material through the designed outlet.
04 · Cover
Apply as directed to form the temporary wound covering. Final application and removal instructions remain subject to usability validation.
CLAIMS DISCIPLINE
What we are not claiming for CleverSkin24.
The wider historical programme includes evidence and language that are not part of the current First Aid 24 launch position. They are intentionally quarantined from public product claims until a formal change-control process and current evidence justify them.
- No antimicrobial or antibacterial claim.
- No claim to prevent or treat infection.
- No accelerated-healing or regenerative claim.
- No analgesic or pain-relief claim.
- No haemostatic or “stops bleeding” claim.
- No chronic-wound, diabetic-ulcer, pressure-injury, surgical-wound, deep-wound or severe-burn indication.
- No 5–7 day or extended-wear claim.
- No “self-sterilising”, sterile or aseptic claim.
Why this matters
In regulated medical technology, the commercial message cannot be wider than the intended purpose and the evidence.
